From Brighouse to Brooklyn.

Here at Pure Innovations, we’re excited by show-stopping design. Whether it’s 20-foot high signage, or bespoke plinths for perfume bottles, great design work stands out. Therefore, when we got asked to recreate the Brooklyn Bridge, we couldn’t wait to get stuck in.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a distinctive landmark known across the world. With its great height and sweeping design, the bridge is most certainly eye-catching. Including a replica of the bridge in an establishment is a great way to make it really stand out.

To begin with, the Brooklyn Bridge was CAD and R&D designed, allowing us to manage every detail, right down to the smallest curve of an archway. After the basic design was created, we then created a prototype out of Foamex, a light but robust material that allowed us to model the bridge accurately to present it to the client. Getting to see a model of the project is something we’re all too happy to do, as it allows clients to get a better feel for how the final design will look. Often the display can be a large investment to a company, therefore keeping a client at ease, and reassuring them of our abilities is usually part of the project. Thankfully, as soon as this client saw the prototype, we were given the go ahead to produce the full model.

The final display was created out of 9mm and 15mm MDF, which was laser cut to fashion accurate lines without the risk of splintering or misalignment. The MDF was then spray painted at Pure Innovations before being transported to the site and installed.

The Brooklyn Bridge now stands tall as a permanent fixture in our client’s establishment and is a regular talking point for both staff and visitors. We enjoyed every part of the process, from the initial talks about the design, right through to spray painting and installing. Pure Innovations can see your project through from start-to-finish.
