At Pure Innovations, the team is used to thinking up new and innovative ideas that solve clients’ problems. When a popular UK supermarket wanted to makeover a section of their store, without removing any of their fittings, Pure Innovations took the challenge in their stride.
To give a traditional but attention-grabbing aesthetic to the display, Pure Innovations created a sweet shop display, complete with oversized sweets, candy-striped edging and Ferris Wheel. The display was designed to fit directly on top of the existing fittings in the store, reducing installation time, and providing a quick solution to an otherwise time-consuming project.
This visual merchandising display had many components coming together to create a clear and impressive in-store sweet shop.
Innovation by name, innovative by nature, Pure Innovations used postal tubes wrapped in a graphic and clear acetate to make giant sticks of rock and polystyrene balls were transformed into oversized colourful lollipops. These sweet treats stood proud at the top of the VM display, making the stand visible across the store and generating great interest.
As well as supersized sweets, Pure Innovations also created a corrugated board Ferris Wheel. This design was made extra striking through the use of applied LEDs. The LEDs flashed in a sequence that gave the visual illusion of movement, without the added complication (and risk of breakage) of moving parts. The Ferris Wheel proved immensely popular and was the perfect addition to the in-store display created by Pure Innovation.
This design was such a success, it was rolled out to over 60 stores! From giant lollipops, to CAD designed Ferris Wheels, if you’ve got an idea, Pure Innovations will make it a reality.
